Power Outage

Final Update 10 am –

As of 9 am, all of the services that were affected by the power outage have been restored. If you are continuing to experience issues please contact the OIT Help Desk at 719-255-3536.

Update 9 pm –

As of 7 pm most of the services that were effected by the power outage have been restored. We will update campus with additional information as it becomes available.

Update 6:20 pm –

We have assessed the current situation with our services, the following is a list of our most frequently used services,  is not comprehensive:

Available:

  • Blackboard – bb.uccs.edu
  • MyUCCS Portal – my.cu.edu
  • Lab Systems – Cannot login with user accounts, but can login with a local account from the support desk
  • Classroom Podiums – Cannot login with user accounts, but can login with a local account from Control Room (719-255-4963)

Unavailable:

  • Office365 Email – Cannot log in
  • Wired Network – Unable to establish new connections
  • UCCS-Wireless Network – Unable to establish new connections
  • UCCS-Guest Network – Unable to establish new connections
  • UCCS OneDrive Accounts – Cannot log in
  • Mountain Lion Connect – Cannot log in
  • VOIP Phones – Unable to establish new connections
  • VPN – Unavailable
  • Self-Service Password Reset – Unavailable
  • WebEx – Cannot log in

Update 5:02 pm –

We are still currently assessing the status of all services. We will update with more information when it is available.

The campus is currently experiencing a power outage. We understand that many services may be affected. We will update the campus with additional information soon.
