Blackboard may be unavailable on Friday, August 12 from 12:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. MT. An upgrade will be performed on our Blackboard system during that time. Please plan your work around this time accordingly.

Blackboard may be unavailable on Friday morning, July 29 from 12:00 a.m. until 4:00 a.m. MT. Maintenance is being performed on the datacenter that hosts our Blackboard instance. Blackboard may be unavailable intermittently during this time period. Please plan your work around this time accordingly.

Portal Maintenance Sunday (7/24/2016) 6:00 am – 6:00 pm

This Sunday (7/24/2016) from 6:00 am – 6:00 pm, there will be multiple portal services unavailable while University Information Systems (UIS) is performing maintenance on several systems. This maintenance will increase reliability and efficiency.  Below is a brief summary of the maintenance schedule.

All portals including, but not limited to the following will be unavailable on July 24th between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm: 

·         Student, Employee and Faculty Portals (My.uccs.edu)

·         Campus Solutions

·         HR and Finance Systems

·         DARS

·         Singularity (Document Management)

·         Cognos

·         Concur

·         CU Marketplace

·         Skillsoft

UCCS specific resources will remain available during the outage. These resources include the following:

·         Blackboard

·         Student Email

·         Staff and Faculty Email

·         Library

·         VPN

·         Computer Labs

Skillsoft Outage Saturday (7-23-2016) 4:00 am – 4:00 pm

This Saturday (7-23-2016) from 4:00 am to 4:00 pm, the vendor Skillsoft is performing maintenance. During this time, all Skillsoft courses will be unavailable. No other services should be affected.

Service Outage – Proofpoint Spam Filter

The server which controls our spam filters will be undergoing maintenance from 10:00pm to 2:00am this evening, July 13th, due to an unexpected system problem.

During this outage you will be unable to release email quarantined by the spam filters or manage your email whitelists. This outage will not affect the normal flow of email and any emails that you need to release will be available for release again once the maintenance is completed.

                Tomorrow evening (7/13/2016), the wireless network will be receiving maintenance between the hours of 11:30pm and 12:00am. During this time, wireless access will experience intermittent outages. We expect the maintenance to be completed, and wireless to be available, by 12:00am Thursday morning.
