The active alerts on campus are as follows:

Service Outage – Video Streaming Service (this weekend)

This weekend, beginning Saturday at 10:00pm and ending Sunday at 6:00pm, the UCCS video streaming service (Mediasite) will be unavailable. This service provides video streams to various resources including classes hosted in Blackboard. This outage is due to a necessary power reconfiguration at CU Boulder which will take Mediasite, and their data center offline while this work is being performed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

 

Update:

We have been notified that the Data Center power outage may cause some issues with the MyUCCS Portal. If you are experiencing issues with the portal during the scheduled maintenance time, please contact the help desk.

Service Restored – VPN Connection

We are currently experiencing intermittent issues with the Resources and Library VPN’s . Current symptoms include:

  • When connecting you may receive an error 800 or error 807
  • After connecting you may be disconnected

 

We are currently investigating the issue and will update when additional information becomes available.

 

Note: The Library VPN is no longer required for off campus research. For information on this please go tohttp://libguides.uccs.edu/basics/proxy.

 

 

Update:

A fix for the VPN issues stated above has been implemented. If you continue to have issues connecting to the VPN please contact the help desk http://www.uccs.edu/it/get-help.html.
