Voicemail Currently Running on Backup Server

In order to restore the use of voicemail we have switched to a backup server. This server is not as robust as our primary system and may cause users to experience slowness when accessing voicemail. If you find that you are trying to access your messages and are unable to, please exit the Messages menu and try accessing it again. This may take a few attempts before the server establishes a connection.

Please use caution while using Blackboard during the hours of 12:00 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. MT on Friday, May 22. The system will briefly go down during this time period for needed maintenance. Please schedule your work around this time period accordingly.

Restored – HRMS Service Interruption

We have received communications from University Information System (UIS) noting that HRMS is currently experiencing a service interruption. Some users are receiving an error stating “You are not authorized to access this component” when accessing the application from within the campus portal. There are no known workarounds available at this time. We will continue to update the campus as we get additional information from UIS.


Update: HRMS is now working as expected. Please contact the help desk if you are continuing to experience issues.


Portal Maintenance Sunday (5/17/2015) 6:00 am – 6:00 pm

This weekend (5-17-2015) from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, there will be multiple portal services unavailable while University Information Systems (UIS) is performing maintenance on several systems. Below is a brief summary of the maintenance schedule.

All portals including, but not limited to the following will be unavailable on May 17th between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm:

  • Student, Employee and Faculty Portals (
  • Campus Solutions
  • HR and Finance Systems
  • DARS
  • Singularity (Document Management)
  • Cognos
  • Concur
  • CU Marketplace
  • Skillsoft


UCCS specific resources will remain available during the outage. These resources include the following:

  • Blackboard
  • Student Email
  • Staff and Faculty Email
  • Library
  • VPN
  • Computer Labs is Currently Unavailable
