The active alerts on campus are as follows:

Beginning this Saturday, July 26th at 6:00 pm and lasting until Sunday, July 27th at 6:00 pm the employee and student portals will be unavailable for all CU campuses. Maintenance webpages will replace normal login pages informing the campus the sites are down for maintenance.

 

Please be sure to complete all work within the portals before 6:00 pm on Saturday!

Submit your IT Lab Software Requests for Fall 2014

The IT department would like to invite you to review the software being offered as part of the IT Lab image here on campus, and remind you to submit your requests for new software before the Fall semester begins.

If you would like to request new software for your class or coursework, please complete the “Computer Labs Software Request” Form available at the UCCS IT Self-Service Portal:  https://ithelp.uccs.edu/CherwellPortal/SelfService

Service Restored – Incoming and Outgoing Calls

UPDATE 5:20 PM

Repair crews are still actively working to identify all of the lines impacted by the cut. At this time we do not have an estimate on when phone service will be restored.

UPDATE :150 PM

Upon further investigation we have discovered that the phone lines into the campus have been cut near the Family Development Center. Century Link (the campus phone provider) has been notified and they are dispatching a repair crew. Repairs may take several hours and we anticipate that phone calls and faxes into and out of the campus will be unavailable the remainder of the day.

 

Please note that 4 digit extension dialing within campus is fully functional.

1:30 PM

At this time we are experiencing a service outage for all campus phones. Calls being made from the campus to an external number as well as external numbers calling in are currently not connecting. We are in contact with our service vendor on the issue. We do not have an estimated up time as of now. We will update the campus with additional information as it becomes available.

Internal calls should not be affected by this outage.
